STONKS: A PADLOCK STORY ABOUT POVERTY IN TURKEY
WEBSITES: PADLOCK AND POVERTY
Hi. This week, we were issued a number of subjects and used padlock to write down what we already knew, what we wanted to know and what we learned after research. It was supposed to be a group work with 4 people but by the time me and Ece wanted to get other people everybody had already formed their own. We had to work twice as much to achieve the same thing as other groups, which showed us the power of group work, even though we were two we did what 4 people could. We chose poverty in Turkey for our subject and I think we've done a very good job. I designed a custom bacgkround consisting of dollar signs to match the subject. The instructions were a bit confusing but we got around it pretty fast. Padlet was very easy to use. It is almost like a website for sticky notes. It gives you a lot of customization options. I've found it very satisfying and would like to use it again for such tasks. I think this assignment help me develop my 21st century skills as I've come to know of the existance of another brilliant tool and a format of activity which I am hoping to use in the future.
